A proud Portlander, Destiny provides technical assistance to child care providers seeking facilities funding to expand or enhance child their program in her role as Program Officer.

Growing up, she was the eldest daughter of a single mother in an immigrant household. This experience, along with her passion for early care and education and professional experiences, make her committed to BuildUp Oregon's mission. She's proud to serve working families and young children by advancing policies, services, and infrastructure in Oregon’s early care and education system.

Outside of work, Destiny enjoys gardening, making jewelry, learning embroidery, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family. You can often find her at community events, parks, libraries, or engaging in civic activities.
